Cause-and-Effect Thinking with the Current Reality Tree

In com­plex sys­tems, it’s com­mon to see mul­ti­ple prob­lems, but these are often linked togeth­er in some ways. TOC address­es this by treat­ing mul­ti­ple prob­lems in a sys­tem as symp­toms aris­ing from one or a few caus­es. The Cur­rent Real­i­ty Tree is a visu­al descrip­tion of the cause-and-effect rela­tion­ship between the per­ceived symp­toms and poten­tial caus­es.
