In corporate environments, sometimes IT policy will block video files from the internet. In this case, you need to work with your IT department to unblock mp4, ts, and m3u8 files from the firewall, proxy, or other network security appliance.
Additionally, some internet resources that are required for our video player to load may be blocked as well. You must work with your IT department to whitelist our video provider resources.
The following domains must be whitelisted for proper video playback:
- jwpcdn.com
- *.jwplayer.com
- *.jwplatform.com
- *.jwpltx.com
- *.jwpsrv.com
- *.mux.com
- videos-fms.jwpsrv.com
- videos-cloudflare.jwpsrv.com
- d3fms16kostc3u.cloudfront.net
Your IT department should be able to trace which network resources they are blocking by examining their network logs.
Further Troubleshooting
- Using a different computer and mobile device can help you further troubleshoot if the issue is limited to a single device.
- Using a different network, such as a mobile or home network can show if the issue is specific to your network. Be sure to log off of any VPN when troubleshooting this step.
