System Requirements

The following are general system requirements:

  • Broadband internet connection
    • Standard Definition video (SD): Minimum sustained download speed of 1.5 Mbps required for no buffering
    • High Definition video (HD): Minimum sustained download speed of 5 Mbps required for no buffering
    • Slower speeds require a longer initial buffering time and may pause to re-buffer over the course of the video timeline
    • The Gemba Academy video player will automatically choose the best video quality for your internet connection
    • Check your internet speed
  • A modern internet browser. The latest versions of the most common internet browsers will work. Ex.

    • Chrome
    • Firefox
    • Safari
  • 1 GB free hard disk space
  • Javascript must be enabled - check your javascript status
  • The following file types must be permitted (firewall must not block them): MP4, MP3, M3U8, GIF, JPG, PNG, TXT, HTM, JS, XLS, SRT, VTT, SVG
