Ryan describes how he wondered how other great organizations worked so well to produce world-class products, while his company struggled with excess inventory, slow production, and dependency on vendors. There had to be a solution. Then one day he came across a Paul Akers video that shed the first bit of light that would eventually lead to the transformation his company.
