Chevron’s Story
With a global workforce spanning 16 time zones, 23 locations, and 12 countries, Chevron needed a way to create Lean and Six Sigma training consistency. But with the expense and logistics of global travel, how do you accomplish this task? This is where Gemba Academy’s on-demand training was deployed to create a highly available, 24⁄7 global training center.
Utilizing the custom learning path features of the Gemba Academy Learning System, Chevron is able to tailor the training specific to its Lean Six Sigma requirements. The Gemba Academy Learning System also enabled them to create their own in-house Black Belt training program. This cost-effective approach allowed each Black Belt student to be paired with a coach that can do what they do best. Spend time with the students, rather than creating their own training material.
Both students and coaches found this to be a highly positive learning experience.
