How to Use a Plan for Every Part (PFEP)

A flow-focused inter­nal logis­tics sys­tem deliv­ers the right parts, in the right quan­ti­ties, at the right time, and in the right pre­sen­ta­tion. Achiev­ing this requires under­stand­ing the details of how we receive, store, and con­sume mate­ri­als. A key step is to cre­ate a com­pre­hen­sive parts data­base, called a Plan for Every Part, or PFEP.
