While the tools of continuous improvement are obviously important, one thing is certain. If we, as continuous improvement leaders, fail to respect, effectively motivate, and positively influence those around us we will never create strong cultures of kaizen. As such, during this course we will explore the human side of lean in great detail.

By the end of this module you will understand how 5 specific brain chemicals strongly influence just about every emotional aspect of our lives. You will also understand how to make these same chemicals work to your advantage as well as what to do when these same chemicals seem to be working against us.
Reducing Social Threats to Enable Continuous Improvement
By the end of this module you will understand how our brains and emotions play an important role in how we work, collaborate, and influence others. To accomplish this we are going to explore a specific brain based model that focuses on how to best collaborate with and influence others.
