New Videos: Lean Municipal Government Forum
Gemba Academy Live!

We just released a new video series with the presentations and tours from the Lean Municipal Government Forum recently held in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

See how Grand Rapids was able to not only survive the Great Recession, but thrive in the years that followed. The event includes talks on lean leadership, lean philosophy, and a detailed explanation of A3 thinking and how it was used. Tours of the fire and water departments provide excellent examples of lean in use by a municipality.

This adds to our previous video series on how Grand Rapids leverages lean concepts.

Customer Success Corner

Mike Rother, author of Toyota Kata, advocates for simultaneously having and being a kata coach. This is a great idea for any lean leader and particularly for those who practice kata. Some who are new to lean may feel as though their coaching options are limited. Gemba Academy subscribers are able to get remote coaching as part of their Gemba Academy subscription.

We're here to help you be successful.
