Announcing Gemba Academy in Spanish!
Gemba Academy Español

We are very excited to announce Gemba Academy Español!

Beginning with the 5S course, we are moving beyond Spanish captions to videos with Spanish-speaking presenters, with all background graphics, supporting files, and quizzes also translated into Spanish.

The full 5S course in Spanish is just about complete and will be launched later in June, with the other School of Lean courses following later. We also expect to launch a Spanish blog and podcast later this year.

Customer Success Corner

It's easy to think that a kaizen event is an improvement. After identifying a problem and a countermeasure, planning the implementation, preparing a kaizen team, and executing the implementation, we can feel like the improvement job is done. The reality is that we're only at the beginning. A change made during the event is an improvement only if it has generated better results over the long term. Even after the results are verified to be an improvement over the long term, we're not finished.

The kaizen event isn't the improvement. It's only the first of infinite PDCA cycles.
